Changes. Reflections on life and technology.
These last few years have been very rewarding both personally and professionally. I have worked on myself in order to improve in different areas, something that I like to do since I see life as a process of continuous improvement and constant discovery.
I recently read the book "Man in Search of Meaning". I recommend you to read it if you haven't done so, as it deals with very interesting topics. For example: how important it is to discover yourself and to know what moves you in life.
This project (pirobits) arose in 2017, to resume my programming blog that I had with 15 years since I had always liked to use my time in hobbies that allowed me to improve as a person. Computer engineering being my sector, I wanted to learn to be very good at my job. Also, I liked to share it so that I could help others along the way.
With pirobits I have not been very constant these years old, since it has been a way to discover myself and find out what things I like to tell. After several years of inner work, today I have the answers I needed (although possibly they will not be the same in 5 or 10 years since we are beings in continuous evolution).
I want to tell about my journey in pirobits and discuss topics that reflect who I am: personal development, entrepreneurship and business from the perspective of a software engineer.
Why am I making this change of direction?
Today, for me, software development is a tool that allows me to achieve my goals: solve problems, help others and monetize my time by providing value.
I love to read and learn about new languages, technologies or frameworks that are emerging, but the new trends have a double edge that some time ago I decided to not to follow.
Today I only think about how I can add value, and how I can do it in the fastest way.
All these topics will be discussed in future posts and youtube videos, so if you have read this far, I think it is worth subscribing to the newsletter and to the youtube channel if you are not already subscribed.
