Unless stated otherwise, the content on Pirobits belongs to Alberto Sola. You may link to the site and quote short excerpts with attribution; please request permission before reproducing a substantial part. Third-party trademarks and content belong to their owners.

Privacy

Alberto Sola is the data controller. Only the data needed for each purpose is requested, and it is not sold or used to build advertising profiles.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, your email address and the data needed to manage your subscription are processed in order to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent. Subscriptions require email confirmation, and every message provides an unsubscribe option. Data is kept while the subscription is active and afterwards only as needed to demonstrate consent or meet legal obligations.

Enquiries

The contact form processes your name, email, and message to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, take steps you request before entering into a contract. An external provider processes the form. Messages are kept as long as needed to reply and, afterwards, for the legal limitation periods.

Operation and measurement

Infrastructure providers may process technical data (IP address, date, browser, and requested resource) to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose errors, based on legitimate interest. Audience is measured with aggregate statistics and no personal identifiers. Fonts are loaded from an external service, which means a technical connection to a third party.

Providers and international transfers

Email, form, hosting, and infrastructure providers act as technology providers. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Your rights

Cookies and external services

Pirobits does not use advertising or profiling cookies, and audience measurement sets no cookies. Videos are not embedded: YouTube links only open the service when you choose to visit it, under its own terms. If a technology requiring consent is introduced, it will not be activated before consent is given.
